2006 Blu Guy of the Year

Yeah we won! I must say it was fun at 11 PM to shave my head and paint myself blue. BluDomain ran a unique contest to hold up a sign reading ’2006 Blu Guy of the Year’ and you win a whole big, awesome prize pacakage. Thanks to our good friend and fellow photographer, Cristy Nielsen for informing us of this contest.

Well, I painted myself blue with a quart of latex paint while standing in a rubber maid tub. Then, we quickly took some simple studio shots in the garage and submitted at exactly 12 PM. Thankfully the blue paint came off super easy in the shower. Perhaps too easy as I had to plunge the shower drain!!

The contest was a blast to participate in and I feel honored I was chosen for my “outside the box” act! Thanks to BluDomain and Cristy!
