We understand that today’s brides are learning to create fabulous weddings on a sometimes, less than extraordinary budget.  No problem!  We believe that every wedding should have fabulous photography regardless of their budget!  We were married very young and we paid for most of our own wedding, so we understand the dilemma facing many couples.  Prices start at $1950 and we offer payment plans.

Included in every package

• Two Photographers

  Every wedding is always covered by Amber and Troy Schmidt.  We won’t leave your wedding to chance by substituting ourselves because we will not EVER take more than one wedding per day.  We rarely even take more than one a weekend!  We certainly will not EVER, hire newbs or “assistants”.  Your wedding memories will be 100% professionally covered by two trained photographers.

• Facebook Sneak Peeks

  Everyone wants their images back instantly, but crafting beautifully artistic images takes time.  We understand that waiting to see your beautiful images can be really hard and are happy to ease the burden by posting Facebook Sneak Peeks.  These are comprised of our favorite images, fully edited and posted to Facebook within two weeks of your wedding!

  *for those purchasing a package with the rights to ALL wedding images, you will also receive a high resolution dvd, in hand, a few days after the images post to Facebook.  This means that you can be printing, and sharing with family and friends in just a few short weeks!*

• Online Image Gallery

  From the engagement session to reception photos your images will be hosted in an online image gallery until 90 days after your wedding.  Out of town guests, parents, friends, whoever can access the link you forward them to share in your wedding memories.

• Engagement Session

  We feel very strongly about providing every wedding client with a free engagement session.  An engagement session is instrumental to our creative process.  It helps us evaluate which style of images are your favorite and dial our photography in for your wedding day.  More importantly, this session often changes our relationship from “client” to “friends”.  It is guarantee to be fun, full of laughter, and definitely translates into more intimate, reflective images of you on your wedding day.

• Bridal Session

  Wedding days come and go and the bride is never alone.  Constantly surrounded by family, friends, and the groom, dedicated time to the bride in her perfect dress is hard to come by.  Every package includes a free bridal session so we have that time to dedicate to the gown, the hair, the makeup, to YOU!  Also it is a perfect trial run for hair, shoes, makeup, dress, and make sure everything is perfect and ready to go for the big day.  We have had more than a few brides who end up changing things about their hair, makeup, garments, etc after going through the bridal session.  Basically it’s a complete practice run for the wedding day.

• Client Information Page

  As the days get closer to your wedding, sometimes remembering all the details of your wedding package can get fuzzy.  All of our clients enjoy their own private, online client information page.  Not only can you review the exact details of your wedding package, you can view all invoices and payments, make payments online, enter your other vendors contact information, and review all your session appointment times.

Payment Plans

We are happy to extend no interest, no fee payment plans to all our wedding couples.  We understand paying for awesome, breathtaking wedding photos can sometimes stretch the budget and hope that payments make your dream package affordable. The added benefit is that you will be allowed to continue paying on your package until three more months after your wedding !   Of course, if you still want to pay your retainer and the remaining balance 30 days prior to your wedding you are welcome to do so.

How it works

1. Pick your package
2. Deduct your $1000 retainer payment
3. Divide the balance by the number of months until your wedding date plus 3 more months
4. Boom!  There is your estimated monthly payment*

*Note: Wedding package prices listed do not include 6% KY Sales Tax.  Taxes usually run around $100.

Off Season Discount

The months of November – April** are considered “off” season in Kentucky.  We do offer a 20-40% discount on all packages booked in these months.  Please contact the studio for an appointment to get more details.

New / Exciting Location Discount

Yes, so there are places that we photograph often in Lexington and Central, Kentucky.  They are inherently beautiful and we truly enjoy being there but we also enjoy NEW and EXCITING locations.  Bring us a location that we have NEVER shot in before and we will automatically give you 10% off any package!!

Okay I love you guys how much to book?

All it takes is a signed contract and a $1000 retainer, all of which can be handled online. Our packages start at $1950 and go up from there.  We have numerous options to meet the needs of most brides and would love to meet with you to discuss your budget and wants in further detail.

Hey where is the detailed pricing?

If you are price shopping and want to compare our prices against other photographers, I encourage you to compare the cost of our Verona package against other photographers.  Ask the others to give you an exact price for this same package.  This will help you to truly compare apples to apples.  Our Verona package that includes:

Mostly, though, 90% of our brides end up in a custom package with their own discount to fit.  Although we do have an outline of packages to give you an idea of what you might be spending, we highly encourage you to book an appointment with the studio to create the package of your dreams.  You will probably find that it is more affordable that you think!
