Welcome to the family…

I was invited by the Lewis family to photograph them on Saturday. Amanda has been on bedrest for a while so i traveled to the hospital and we jammed our equipment into her hospital room!!! It was tons of fun!! (and i am actually being serious!!!) I am so glad we decided to go this weekend because….

Their beautiful baby girl was born this morning!!! She was 5 lb 9 oz and they have named her Cyrah Aubree!! Congratulations Lewis family and welcome to the family little Cyrah!

Kayla and Jason

I had the privelege of photographing Kayla and Jason’s wedding at Kayla’s family home in Fleming County. They were married August 12th (sniff sniff… they are kind of special to me seeing as how we share an anniversary date!!) It turned out to be a gorgeous day and THANK GOD it rained all that week or we would have been sweltering!! But it all worked out and the day was PERFECT!

And let me tell ya about the bugs!!! There was a bug that was as big as a flippin bird!!! I managed to catch a pic of it!

Josh and Jessica

My last shoot before the baby was covering the wedding of an old friend at the Sheraton Suites here in Lexington. It was a gorgeous day indoors and out, a touching ceremony, and a hilariously fun time dancing!! Congratulations Josh and Jessica!!! Best wishes for a long and happy life together!!!

Lauren and Thom

Last weekend we had the privilege of photographing a this fantastic couple – Lauren and Thom. This bench holds special meaning to them… this is the exact spot where Thoms proposed!!! We barely beat the rain at the arboretum – good thing we left when we did eh guys? We are totally stokked about their wedding next year and cannot wait to get to know them better!!!!

For all who were wondering… no we are not dead!! We may be just short of it – but only ONE foot is in the grave!!

Kyleigh Morgan was born July 13th at 8:17 am… and though the we thought that her being born would be the end of our long journey to get her here… we soon realized we had only just begun!
